FAQ

What Happens First?

You don't need to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

The first step is simply a conversation. We'll talk about what brings you here, answer your questions, and explore whether Still Me is the right fit for you. From there, we'll determine what type of support makes the most sense—whether that's therapy, Single Session Therapy, EMDR, mediation, or another service.

You set the pace. We'll help you find the next step.

Can I switch from one service to another?

Yes. Life changes, and sometimes the type of support you need changes too. Whether you're looking for ongoing therapy, a Single Session, EMDR, Divorce Mediation, or another service, we'll help you determine what makes the most sense for where you are right now.

Is My Information Confidential?

Privacy and trust are central to the work we do. Information you share with us is kept confidential, with limited exceptions required by law. These exceptions will be reviewed with you before services begin so you understand your rights and what to expect.

For therapy services, if you choose to seek insurance reimbursement, certain information may be required to process your claim, including a diagnosis and other clinical information. We are happy to answer questions about this process before you begin.

Confidentiality in mediation is different from therapy and will be reviewed as part of the mediation process.

Do You Accept Insurance?

Wendy Keen accepts limited insurances. Deb Hurowitz and James Boomhower are able to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance, HSA/FSA, or for tax purposes. Insurance often reimburses some portion of out-of-network psychotherapy—be sure to check your plan for details, especially regarding telehealth coverage.

Mediation is not an insurance covered practice.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed without notice—will be charged the full session fee.

We understand that things come up, and will do our best to work with clients to reschedule when possible.

How Do I Get Started?

The first step is reaching out. Contact us to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about our approach and services, and get a sense of whether Still Me feels like the right fit for you.

The consultation is not a therapy session or mediation session. It is simply a chance to connect, gather information, and decide on the next step.

It’s a small step toward making space for what matters now.
